Job Responsibilities:

– Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility

– Support with unloading and loading Material onto and off frights.

– Comfortable lifting 50 to 100 pound boxes.

– Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment

– Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products

– Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner

– Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times

– Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

We’re looking for experienced Machine Operators to support a premier client in Palmyra.  These are machine operator opportunities within in a food production and packaging facility.  Must have prior machine operation experience and strong English skills (speak/read).

Currently 3rd Shift Available.  11:00pm-7:00am, Monday-Friday.
Pay: $21.25/hour to start + unlimited referral bonuses

Job Duties as a Machine Operator:

• Set up and operate a packaging machine
• Operate the Production Management System
• Supply the scale with intermediate components and bagging materials (film) to keep the machine running properly
• Operate the bagging machine with minimal waste to finished products and packaging materials
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout the day, inspecting for packaging defects, material defects and quality
• Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, clean machine jams and align rolls of bagging materials to minimize downtime and promote productivity
• Conduct periodic adjustments on the bagging machine and scale to ensure peak performance efficiency
• Document inventory numbers/weights on products and organize packages; provide hourly count reports of production and downtime
• Fill, secure and label containers according to company and/or customer specifications
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately in a timely fashion, according to specifications; make minor repairs to packaging equipment as needed
