• Functions Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. 
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.

Description:

• Assists the Warehouse team in the Warehouse operation, including but not limited to: receiving, shipping, GMP requirements, and filling in at other positions where needed.
• Assists in assuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment and loading of route trucks, boxed beef orders, and will-call orders
• Receiving, loading , unloading, stretch wrapping, product put away, order selecting , scanning, palletizing, invoicing, labeling, warehouse clean up, freezer work, reboxing product; works with
• QA and accounting to assure all returns are processed properly and proper credits have been issued; assists in assuring any and all special product requirements have been met
• Assures all powered equipment inspection forms are completed daily and notifies management of potential safety issues
• Assists in investigating inventory discrepancies; assures that all safety and GMP rules are adhered to; conducts item to item transfers as required; performs other duties as assigned.

• 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
• Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
• Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Able to count accurately
