Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 months warehouse experience in a inventory type position
• Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Able to twist, lift, carry, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand up, walk, bend for entire shift
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent math skills
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers
• Very organized and able to follow complex work instructions (both written and verbal)

ProLogistix is currently hiring Reach Forklift Operators for our Distribution Center client in Ladson.  This is a career opportunity inside a warehouse supporting a large automotive manufacturer. You will be working in a production-style warehouse where product may be received and shipped out all in the same day. The warehouse is clean, organized, and the product ranges in size from small nuts and bolts up to parts weighing over 100 pounds which are very expensive.

Pay:  $18.00 – 19.00 /hr (Unlimited referral bonuses!)

Day Shift:  6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday

Afternoon Shift:  2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday – Friday

Night Shift:  10:00 pm – 6:30 am Monday – Friday

Job Duties as a Reach Forklift Operator for ProLogistix:

• Operate High Reach or Order Picker forklifts to move product on and off trucks and around warehouse. Load into racking as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading by hand, repalletizing products, and loading into warehouse racks or trucks. Will be unloading by hand 50% of the time.
• Willing to work in any area of the warehouse to keep production moving…must be flexible!
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation

Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Mid-Shift – $22.00 Sunday, 5 AM -1:30 PM & Monday – Thursday 10 AM – 6:30 PM

– Shipping & Receiving Department

2nd Shift – $22.25 2 PM – 11 PM or until production is complete

Schedules: Monday – Friday (Saturday & Sunday OT is required as production mandates) Daily OT is regularly required to meet production needs. **Premium Pay after 8 hours/day and on Sunday!

Job Description:

• Operating Forklift in cold/wet environment.
• Moving finished product for shipping.
• Replenishing production with equipment/supplies.
• Other material handling duties as assigned. Meat Processing plant that produces Meatballs, Hot Dogs, Hamburger Patties, and Ground Beef. Fast paced, Cold Environment 28 – 38 degrees.
• Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
• This is physical job working in a cold environment.
• Good Hygiene is essential, steel toe slip resistant shoes are required. Dress in layers-No hoodies.
