Shipping and Receiving Clerk Needed 

Location: Lancaster, CA

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk with manufacturing experience to join our team.

This position will be record keeping for shipping and receiving of products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and inventory movement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring shipments are processed and delivered on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels) for outbound shipments.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels of both finished goods and purchased components.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely consumption of orders in the ERP system. Utilize ERP to track inventory movements.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing shipping inquiries and resolving order issues.
• Adhere to safety practices and protocols at all times.

General Functions:
•Responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and moving material in the Distribution Center to a point of shipment for customer orders.
•Must check for billing error, damaged material, and packaging errors and reconcile as required.
•Responsible for proper and safe storage of all finished stock.
•Responsible for the accuracy of all inventory, in terms of part number and quantity of items picked on customer orders.
•Responsible for picking product to fill customer orders safely and accurately.
•Parcel processing, packing and processing UPS/FedEx shipments.
•Reworking material to specific lengths and relabeling.
•Repacking materials and labeling for customer shipments.
•Handling forklift or stock picker to process income and outgoing orders.

Specific Functions:
•Performs clerical work as required.
•Must check each order for correct count and proper labeling, reporting all errors and/or damage to Supervisor.
•Work closely with supervision on rush orders.
