• The Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving and transporting packaging, ingredients, and finished goods for the facility.

Job Description

• Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
• Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
• Maintain forklifts by daily inspecting batteries, water levels, lights, horn, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beep indicators, etc.
• Verify all deliveries/discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt.
• Enter necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the company”s computer system.
• Organize/rotate old materials with new.

• Assist management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
• Label any open/partial ingredient and packaging.

• Performs all other warehouse and freezer duties.
• Must be able to operate all forklift equipment
• Must be trained and recertified annually for forklift license
• Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• One year or more material handling experience.

The Dock Clerk (CSR) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of inbound and outbound shipments at the distribution center. This position is responsible for tracking shipments, preparing documentation, communicating with drivers and warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate records of all dock activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal departments.

• Check in and check out drivers, verifying load information and proper documentation.

• Ensure accurate and timely entry of shipment data into warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Maintain organized records of bills of lading, manifests, shipping labels, and delivery receipts.

• Communicate with warehouse staff regarding dock availability, load priorities, and special handling instructions.

• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and safety compliance before and after loading.

• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies or delays.
