General Machinist 

The General Machinist II plans and executes projects using machine tools including boring tools, calipers, drilling machines, grinding machines, lathes, milling cutters, and workshop presses.    

Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts & tables.  Needs to be able to edit programs and write simple programs.  Needs to work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints.  Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools. Monitor speed and feed of machines during the machining process.  Prefer to have both FANUC and HAAS controls for Lathes. Needs to be able to work on Lathes machinery. Mills experience is a plus.

Schedule: 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri

Pay: $22-$28/hr depending on Experience

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts
• Work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints

This position performs all required welding and fabricating operations of all aircraft engine components as defined in the engineering process routing. Read and understand routing instructions are critical to ensure product safety. This position is entry level in the production process.
