Surprise Area Logistics company is seeking a Standup Forklift Operator

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am to 4pm (OT as needed)

Pay Rate: $19.50hr

Duties: Operate a Standup Forklift (unload, move and load product) Wrap pallets, Label boxes, Hand unload containers

Forklift Operator must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for in and outbound orders, inventory management, storage, and accurate documentation of packaged material from conveyor line.

Requirements:

• Must pass the client Forklift Driver Exam for both theory and practice, WILL BE DOING GL WORK FOR A COUPLE DAYS WHILE CLIENTS ADDS YOU TO THEIR VALIDATION COURSE.

• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

• Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

• Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

• Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.

• Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization including but not limited to general labor.

• Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.

• Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start of shift.

• Ensure all dock operations are performed according to the specific instructions.

• Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service, including the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner within diversified situations.

• Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.

Essential Functions

• Reviews and organizes all shipping orders, including domestic and export
• Capable of clerical work while providing physical support to the operation
• Order expediting with email communication and daily workload
• Assists with updating and managing repack/repackaging schedules
• Able to utilize shipping inventory and various office software programs
• Assist with in-house shipping and all logistic related order issues
• Maintain consistent communications between shipping and sales departments
• Able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends if needed
• Ability to communicate with will call customers and provide excellent customer service
• Other duties as assigned by manager

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing customer service to all callers. They answer incoming calls and troubleshoot any issues. They assist pilot stations and cartage agents. They respond to all emails and oversee accounts and KPIs assigned to them.

• Rework/value added services area which includes but not limited to, off loading trailers of product, repackaging, relabeling, etc. 
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers 
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas 
• Complies with all safety requirements 
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system 
• Quality control 
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received 
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Maintains inventory records
