• Perform inspections of personal protective equipment and material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

Job Description:  Team Lead oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role supports warehouse associates, assigns tasks, monitors performance, and acts as a liaison between the team and management.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate and lead a team of warehouse associates in daily activities such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to new and existing team members.

• Monitor performance, address issues, and report concerns to supervisors or management.

• Assign work based on operational needs and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and material-handling tools.

• Verify accuracy of orders, inventory counts, and documentation.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, or inventory.

• Maintain high standards for order quality, productivity, and efficiency.

• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA regulations.

• Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and hazard-free.

• Report accidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and cross-functional departments.

• Provide daily updates on progress, staffing, issues, and workflow.

• Help maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required.

Qualifications: 

• Previous warehouse experience required; leadership or team lead experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred but not required).

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

• Basic computer skills (RF scanners, WMS, MS Office, or similar systems).
