Hours & Pay: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, etc.

• Prepare documents such as bills of lading or shipping orders to route materials.

• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare product for shipping.

• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes.

• Correspond with established representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.

• Deliver or route product as necessary using a hand truck.

• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.

• Locate, measure, and weigh various items for routing.

• Perform any other tasks as required by management
