ProLogistix is currently hiring Forklift Operators to take on 1st and 2nd and 3rd shift job opportunities in Summerville. These are career opportunities supporting an automotive manufacturer right here in the Tri-County area! You will start on our payroll and be hired on permanently after the introductory period.
Pay: $17.00 for 1st shift, $18.25 for 2nd and 3rd shift (Unlimited referral bonuses!)
1st Shift: 6:30am – 2:45pm Monday through Friday (must be flexible to work later hours and/or on weekends)
2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 10:45pm Monday through Friday (must be flexible to work later hours and/or on weekends)
3rd Shift: 10:30pm – 6:40am Monday through Friday (must be flexible to work later hours and/or on weekends)
Job Duties as a Forklift Operator for ProLogistix:
- Safely and quickly operate sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, and tuggers to move inbound and outbound product
- Loading and unloading trailers with forklift and by hand
- Palletizing, labeling, banding inbound and outbound product
- Use RF Scanner and SAP system to document product movement
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
- Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation
- Load and unload product by hand when needed lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Requirements for Forklift Operators:
- Twelve months of forklift experience required…certification a plus
- Ability to operate reach or cherry picker a BIG plus
- Lifting requirement is 50 pounds
- Will be working in a production environment that is climate controlled
- Stand for 8-10 hrs. /day
- May stay late or work on weekends
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet production demand
- Work swiftly and safely, supporting the automotive production process
