Job Opening: Sit Down Forklift Operator
Description
3PL warehouse in Dallas is currently hiring Sit Down Forklift operators with Versa Lift experience and or similar heavy forklift experience
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm 19.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Operate Versa lift (40/60 ratio) to load, unload and relocate heavy or oversized equipment safety and efficiently
Read and interpret rigging plans, lift diagrams, and equipment specifications
Collaborate with riggers, spotters, and project leads to execute complex lifts and moves
Secure loads with appropriate rigging hardware such as chains, slings, and shackles.
Assist in general rigging duties, warehouse duties, including cleaning while not operating lift Walking, bending, lifting, and climbing as needed entire shift
Qualifications
- 2 years Versa-lift experience or 5 years of solid Sit Down forklift experience
- Familiar with load charts and center of gravity knowledge of safe rigging practices
- Able to life 50 lbs and work in all climate environment
- Knowledge of safe rigging practices
