Machine Operators/Packers needed for a manufacturing warehouse located in Sparks Glencoe, MD

Temp to Hire Full time

Must have Manufacturing warehouse experience!

They have different Shifts/Pay:

Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 4:30pm. Pay $18/hr
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 5:45am to 6pm. Pay $18.34/hr
Monday to Friday: 10:15pm to 6:15am. Pay $20.43/hr

Chance for overtime! Once you reach your hours, will get hired directly with the company and will get a pay raise!

Machine Operator/Packer Job Duties:

• Responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment including manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
• Packaging of final product into end-user containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer) following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Demonstrates ability to set-up, operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL) and Bagging equipment (SpeeDee & All-Fills). Requires monitoring of critical meters, gauges and displays for process parameters (ie. temperature, humidity, RPMs).
• Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision
• Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization)
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations
• Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes
•  May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product
• Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer generated labels
