Job Opening: Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator – Cross Dock (Overnight)
Location: Brownstown, MI
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced, safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our team in Brownstown! This role operates on a cross dock, where you’ll be responsible for efficiently unloading and loading trailers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks

• Load and unload trailers on a cross dock

• Move freight throughout the dock efficiently and safely

• Scan, label, and track freight using handheld scanners

• Follow all warehouse safety and operating procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of forklift experience (cross dock experience preferred)

• Certification in forklift operation or ability to certify

• Proficiency using handheld scanners

• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing throughout the shift

• Ability to work in temperature-variable conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cross dock or freight handling environments

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• High attention to safety and detail
