Job Opening: Freight Thrower

Job Title: Freight Thrower – Warehouse (Weekend Shift)
Location: Brownstown, MI
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Saturday – Monday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (or until work is completed)

Position Overview:
We are seeking hardworking, dependable Freight Throwers to join our warehouse team in Brownstown! This physically demanding role involves unloading freight from trailers, picking orders, building and wrapping pallets, and organizing product in a fast-paced, high-volume cross dock environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually unload freight from trailers

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently

• Build and stack pallets according to warehouse standards

• Wrap pallets securely for shipment or storage

• Organize and stage freight for delivery

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to consistently lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift

• Prior warehouse, freight, or manual labor experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work until the job is completed

• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Comfortable working in temperature-variable conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with order picking and palletizing

• Experience in cross dock or freight-handling environments

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
