Job Title: Dispatch Coordinator
Location: Eagan, MN
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday | 6:00 AM – Completion
Pay Range: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatch Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation operations. This position plays a key role in assisting the Central Dispatcher with routing, scheduling, and managing driver and freight activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in dispatching, strong communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Central Dispatcher with the daily coordination and displacement of freight and drivers (approx. 80%).
Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks and ensure accuracy of records (approx. 10%).
Generate and maintain daily revenue reports and assist with the data entry of bills (approx. 10%).
Oversee driver and dockworker schedules, ensuring efficient routing and timely deliveries.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling or delivery issues.
Support daily operations to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety policies.
Communicate effectively with internal departments, drivers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.
Working knowledge of DOT compliance and driver routing.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency required; training on company software will be provided.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
