Order Picker Lift Operator
Position Summary
Operate an order picker (cherry picker) to accurately pick, stage, and move product within the warehouse while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role supports on-time order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an order picker lift to pick orders from racking at various heights.
- Read and follow pick tickets, RF scanner prompts, and warehouse location systems.
- Verify item, quantity, lot/serial (as applicable); stage orders with correct labeling.
- Perform basic equipment checks and daily battery/charging maintenance.
- Assist with putaway, cycle counts, slotting changes, and re-warehouse projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; remove debris/shrink wrap.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies or damage; escalate safety or quality issues.
- Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience operating an order picker or other powered industrial truck required.
- Current certification to operate an order picker, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Proficient with RF scanners and basic warehouse systems.
- Strong attention to detail; able to follow standard work and safety procedures.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Full-time; overtime and weekends may be required based on business needs.

Physical and Safety Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; team-lift above as needed.
- Work at heights using appropriate fall protection when required by site policy.
- Stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods; frequent reaching and bending.
- Ability to tolerate warehouse conditions (seasonal temperatures, moderate noise).
- Adhere to all PPE, PIT, and fall protection rules; complete daily equipment inspections.
