Job Opening: Shipping Clerk: Forklift (sit-down)

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping Clerk for a 1st Shift opportunity in the Eastside area. This is a temp-to-hire position with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
• Review production and shipping orders and transport materials to designated areas.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Adhere to all quality, safety, and company guidelines.
• Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Learn and apply new procedures and methods in assigned work areas.
• Perform routine duties with minimal direct supervision.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Utilize basic computer skills for shipping and inventory functions.

Qualifications

• Recent sit-down forklift experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related warehouse or shipping experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform routine physical tasks.
