Description
Core & Jacket Machine Operator
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 2nd & 3rd
Work Environment: Non-climate-controlled warehouse manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Set up, start, operate, and monitor Core and Jacket machinery in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Handle raw materials, including fiberglass insulation products, while following safety and quality standards.
- Monitor production equipment to ensure safe operation, optimal performance, and product quality.
- Process, form, and package fiberglass insulation cores and jackets according to production specifications.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of cores and jackets to verify conformance with quality specifications and established standards.
- Package finished products into bundles, bags, boxes, or pallets according to company requirements.
- Label products and accurately complete production records, bundle tickets, and packaging documentation.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor for resolution.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain equipment efficiency and workplace safety.
