Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver to join our team. This position operates on a rotating 3-day on, 3-day off schedule with 12-hour shifts, offering built-in overtime-style hours and consistent days off. Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials as directed

Forklift Driver – Freezer Environment (3rd Shift) – Oxnard, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to work in a freezer warehouse environment on 3rd shift. The Forklift Driver will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, store, and retrieve products while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards in sub-zero temperatures.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Typically overnight hours (exact schedule may vary)
• Overtime, weekends, and holiday work may be required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, or pallet jack forklifts safely in a freezer environment
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
• Accurately pick and place inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (if applicable)
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety or cold-storage procedures
• Work efficiently in sub-zero temperatures while wearing required freezer gear
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance standards

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to work in freezer temperatures for extended periods
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable operating equipment in cold, fast-paced environments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience required
• Experience working in a freezer or cold-storage warehouse strongly preferred
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable with strong attendance for overnight shifts
