Schedule:

• Rotating: Work 11 consecutive days, followed by 3 days off

• Available Shifts:
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM –  10:00 PM | $21.00/hour

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Extrusion Machine Operator for our overnight shift. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate extrusion machines per job specifications and safety guidelines

• Monitor operations for consistency in quality and output

• Adjust machine settings (speed, temperature, pressure) as needed

• Perform minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts

• Conduct routine quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Record production data and maintain accurate shift logs

• Load raw materials and monitor material feed

• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Production Manager

• Identify, label, weigh, and dispose of scrap properly

• Clean and maintain machines and work areas for operational efficiency

• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams

• Follow all documentation and work instructions as part of the quality system

• Identify and resolve basic equipment malfunctions

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift

• Forklift experience 

• Must wear steel toe shoes

• Ability to speak, read, and write English

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

• Prior experience with extrusion machinery preferred but not required

Job Title: Reach Truck Operator
Location: Wyandotte
Pay Rate: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

• May occasionally require an earlier start time

Midnight Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Sunday–Thursday)

• May expand to a 10-hour shift in the future, always starting at 7:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operators to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will operate powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced production environment, handle inventory using handheld scanners, and maintain accuracy and efficiency while following warehouse procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks, powered industrial lift trucks, and order pickers

• Accurately scan and label inventory with handheld scanners

• Load and unload trailers efficiently

• Perform inbound receiving tasks

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with the 7S program

• Follow quality and process standards

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of reach truck experience

• Certified in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks

• Experience with handheld scanners and labeling systems

• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally 75+ lbs.)

• Perform repetitive movements: bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling

• Stand, walk, or sit for long periods

• Use manual dexterity to operate tools, scanners, and equipment

• Work in variable temperature environments
