We are looking to hire an Office Receptionist to be responsible for the general operation of a small local office. Join the team of a well-established, long standing electrical company here in the Brownsville area and gain experience under your belt! We are open to limited experienced candidates who have the drive, right attitude, and ambition to dive into this role and make it their own!

Office Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Managing filing system.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
  • Coordinating events as necessary.
  • Maintaining supply inventory.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.
  • Aiding with client reception as needed.
  • Experience as a virtual assistant.
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
  • Experience as office manager or office manager assistant
  • Knows how to use Excel (know how to apply simple formulas such as summation and product)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Open work orders for service calls
  • Create invoices and complete billing
  • Handler light accounts receivable, accounts payable duties
  • Manage Employee files and employee processing
  • Onboarding of new hires and separations
  • Opening and closing office and end of day reports
  • Ensure office personnel are focused and on task
