Title: Sewing Machine Operators

Shift: 2nd shifts

Position: Temp to Hire

Pay: $12.00-$12.35/hr

Location: Irmo, SC

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate an industrial sewing machine, performing a variety of stitch types

• Properly sew a variety of covers, coverlets, and/or sub-assemblies

• Layout and cut materials using patterns, scissors, and/or cutting equipment

• Visually inspect sub-assemblies and finished goods per quality standards

• Apply appropriate product, safety, and regulatory labels

• Must be able to cross train to job task, as directed

• Complete documentation as required

• Participate in cycle counts and periodic physical inventories, as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary
Resource MFG is currently recruiting for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations. This position will be a full-time contract to hire with an outstanding compensation and benefit package.

Responsibilities and Duties
•Duties include the application of one or more craft skills (i.e. mechanical, electrical, welding, pipe fitting & machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facility equipment, buildings and systems at a journeyman level.
•Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, piping systems, conveyor systems, AGVs, PLCs, production machinery and instrumentation equipment
•Installs new machinery and equipment and moves machinery and equipment to affect layout changes as required: work may include operations such as rigging, moving, erecting, aligning, and making necessary hook-ups, placing equipment in proper operating condition
•Performs preventative maintenance activities of all types including the most critical types requiring extensive dismantling, re-assemble, and critical adjustment, lubrication and/or calibration

Qualifications and Skills
•Minimum of 1 years of experience in general production maintenance including craft skills (i.e. mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems
•Strong oral and written communication skills, moderate computer skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements, and attention to detail are essential.
