Base pay 15.00 an hour 

Prologistix is looking for the best and the brightest Sit Down Clamp Forklift Operators. The ideal Sit-Down forklift operators will be assigned to a Household appliance distribution center in the Lancaster TX area. This is a 2nd shift 4:00pm to 12:00am or Finish.

Work Schedule is Monday to Friday.  Weekends are only as needed.

Duties 

You will be loading and unloading household electrical appliances using a Sit Down Clamp Forklift.  Ideal candidate will be handling all freight with care applying the necessary pressure to avoid damage to product.

Job Description for ideal Candidates 

  • Perform daily cycle counts – adhere to specified variance objectives – to include walk-offs and maintenance of zero bin reports 
  •  Monitor and manage daily floor denials and maintain Non-Sale inventory reports and resolve shortages in a timely manner
  • Manage and perform product slotting to insure most efficient space management and efficient placement of inventories within the facility 
  • Perform daily up-sizing / down-sizing functions insuring product is slotted according to established categories. Monitor and correct placement of product
  •  Coordinate product re-labeling initiatives to insure proper adjustment codes are utilized and reported to HQ in a timely manner 

 

  •  Coordinate with Parts Quality Compliance Specialist all relabeling of products, and appropriate inventory adjustment.

• Communication with many departments / Contract Manufacturers, at various levels of authority.

• Responsible for safe practices

• Perform other duties as necessary or required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• GED equivalency required
• Candidate must be able to:
? Work independent in the warehouse environment.
? Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Candidate must be knowledgeable of manufacturing methods, statistical concepts, and quality methods.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Good computer skills required, with proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience using problem-solving techniques is helpful.
• Experience in Quality Inspection, Cosmetics Industry preferred.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
