• Use Handled scanners to efficiently track and maneuver freight though the facility.

• Accurately label boxes and prepare freight for shipment.

• Complete orders by pulling parts, preparing them for shipment.

• Ensure that the product is properly placed on racks, shelves, or in bins.

• Inspect received goods for any damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisor.

• Ensure that aisles, pathways, and work area are free of obstructions and safety hazards.

• Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist with the physical counting of inventory.

• Periodically operate a forklift, moving material to designated areas.

• Able to work required schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform stick (SMAW) and arc welding on structural steel, equipment, and metal fabrications.
• Prepare materials for welding by measuring, cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
• Repair and rework welds as needed.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general fabrication and construction tasks as required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
• Frequently bend, stoop, grip, grasp, and twist.

Education

• GED required.
