We are hiring a Shipping Analyst in Moreno Valley! 

Shift Wednesday - Saturday 1st Shift 

Pay: $20/hr. 

General Nature of the Position: 

The Shipping Analyst will work closely with the Shipping Department Leadership Team in the performance of a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. The Shipping Analyst will mainly be responsible for the departments Metrics; daily tracking and gathering of employees’ task hours, as well as for submitting the department’s weekly Productivity report.

The Shipping Analyst will assist with the Invoicing of all parcel orders, dispatching of the parcel trailers, sustaining the trailer tracker up to date, communicating/emailing effectively to leadership and the parcel Carriers (UPS/FedEx/USPS) throughout the day, and doing routine yard sweeps to ensure all parcel trucks are accounted for. The Shipping Analyst will also assist with the new hires; welcome them on their first day, introduce them to leadership, provide them with the tools they need to be successful at their role. The Shipping Analyst will need to be fully trained in all the Palletization Functions, be able to research and support our floor associates with any questions.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support the Shipping leadership with administrative duties.
  • Delegates workload of priorities through the direction of the Supervisor.
  • Confirms completion of workload and/or will communicate any incomplete work.
  • Ensures emails are responded to on a daily basis. Creates and runs reports as needed.
  • Research issues and maintain audits. Cross-trains in other departments and provides support when needed.
  • Assist Supervisor on coordinating team meetings for the departments and ensures proper documentation is completed if needed.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Leadership/Management on any issues.
  • Assist in identifying associates that perform below the set goals and work with leadership to coach and/or retrain as necessary.
  • Assist in communicating daily headcounts of the shift and report any changes in the department.
  • Conduct counts for RF Scanners and Batteries at the start and end of the shift.
  • Report any safety concerns & incidents to the designated parties.
  • Data input, metrics reviewing, and voice productivity concerns for the department based on gathered data to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Work with the DC Business Coordinator to finalize the weekly Productivity report.
