Special Skills: Special skills include, math skills, pattern matching, ability to read and understand standard measurements and manufacturing tickets with acute attentiveness to detail. Tools The Cutter will utilize a flat cutting table equipped with an automated cutting system to cut fabric for drapery panels. This person will remove decorative fabric from the staging rack and load it onto the cutting table. The cutter will then read the manufacturing ticket to determine the measurement and the number of cuts to be made for the order. Once this information is found they will pull the fabric across the table according to the measurements indicated on the manufacturing ticket. If the fabric has a pattern, they will determine the pattern placement prior to making the first cut so that each panel is cut on the same pattern. They will then push a button on the machine to make the cuts. The same instructions are used to cut the lining as indicated on the manufacturing ticket Once all cuts are made for the order, they are placed on a cart together with the manufacturing ticket attached.

This role involves handling various types of mail, including bank statements, checks, invoices, and flats. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate high-speed mail inserter machines.

• Manage different types of mail, such as bank statements, checks, invoices, and flats.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Bindery Helper to join our team in Troy, MI. This position is essential to assisting with the finishing and binding processes in a fast-paced production environment. The Bindery Helper will support the production team by preparing, assembling, and ensuring quality control of print materials, working closely with bindery machines and operators.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of bindery machines, including folders, stitchers, and cutters.

• Support the finishing process by ensuring printed materials are properly cut, folded, and bound.

• Organize and prepare materials for the bindery process, including paper, covers, and other supplies.

• Monitor and maintain the quality of materials throughout the bindery process, ensuring they meet company standards.

• Stack, package, and label completed work for delivery or shipping.

• Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance to ensure proper operation.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Assist in loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks as needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bindery or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
