Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Needed in Baytown, TX!
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join our team in Baytown, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in shipping, receiving, and forklift operations. As a lead, you will oversee dock activities, ensure accurate documentation, and help drive efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy in storage, handling, and documentation.
- Lead and supervise a team to ensure smooth, safe, and accurate dock and warehouse operations.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to ensure all team members are informed, prepared, and ready to begin work promptly.
- Maintain strict accuracy and compliance with client-specific operating procedures.
- Manage inventory and maintain organized records of packaged materials.
- Lead, train, and support a team by conducting pre-shift briefings and ensuring punctuality and productivity.
- Operate forklifts (sit-down) and perform general warehouse tasks when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive working relationships with employees, vendors, and clients.
- Assist in implementing and learning new warehouse management systems (WMS).
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (must be available for weekends and holidays as needed).
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. Payday is every Friday!

Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience in a fast-paced shipping & receiving warehouse environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual a plus).
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to lift 55-100 lbs. and work in both indoor/outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Valid/current driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new WMS systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
