Quality Technician-Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the inspection and rework of products sold. Duties will include working directly with operations teams to improve quality, supporting the documentation and tracking of defects, and coordinating rework efforts to fix issues as soon as possible in accordance with company policies and procedures

Experience:

• Assembly experience preferred
• Experience in an inspection or repair service role preferred

• Proficiency in Office 365 products

Responsibilities include safely operating a Yard Dog (Terminal Tractor) to move and position trailers, performing equipment inspections, verifying trailer and seal information, maintaining movement records, and operating a Stand-Up Forklift to load, unload, stage, and transport products within the warehouse. Candidates will assist with general warehouse duties, communicate effectively with team members, and follow all OSHA, DOT, company safety, and cold storage procedures. Qualified candidates will have previous Yard Dog/Terminal Tractor experience preferred and experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift required. Must be able to work safely in refrigerated and freezer environments, lift up to 50 lbs., perform physical tasks throughout the shift, and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Cold storage, food distribution, inventory, and logistics experience are a plus. This position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing in and out of equipment, and working around warehouse traffic, moving equipment, and varying outdoor weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and teamwork.

Turret Operator with Maersk Ridgeville is a high skill level position that requires the utmost in safe forklift operation. You will be operating a turret truck to load and unload cases and pallets in a cold storage warehouse. The turret has a cab and is climate controlled, but the warehouse is cold.
