This is a leadership driven role for someone who excels at managing complex operations, controlling budgets, and motivating teams to deliver outstanding service in a fast paced distribution environment. $40.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure service agreements are met or exceeded
- Maximize profitability through superior service, effective communication, and timely follow up on all operational matters
- Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjust as needed to meet operational demands and business objectives
- Manage revenue and expenses while operating within established budget constraints
- Train, develop, and motivate employees to achieve peak performance and expand their skill sets
- Oversee financial aspects of the department including purchasing, budget preparation, financial reporting, and expense monitoring
- Maintain a productive, organized, and professional work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager within a warehouse, logistics, or 3PL environment
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop high performing teams
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web based applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Consistent performance under stress while maintaining professionalism and organizational standards
