Now Hiring: Forklift Operator (Sit-Down)

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM until Finish

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for performing all shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse, including operating a sit-down propane forklift and unloading trucks. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, safe operations, and efficient workflow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down propane forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse and on/off trucks and trailers.
• Replace propane canisters as needed and perform daily equipment inspections.
• Pick, pull, and stage outbound loads.
• Accurately track inventory movements and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Receive, verify, and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damages.
• Coordinate with office staff, drivers, and warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks including picking, packing, consolidating, and organizing inventory.
• Conduct routine stock checks and maintain orderly storage areas.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift operating experience (sit-down propane preferred).
• Valid forklift certification.
• Prior warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
