Job Opening: MANUFACTURING Shipping Lead

PROLOGISTIX IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH PRIOR SHIPPING EXP IN A MANUFACTURING (NOT WAREHOUSE) SETTING, Someone with experience operating a forklift. 

Night Shift 3pm to 1130 pm Monday through Friday 21.50

Overnight shift 11P to 730am Monday night through Friday night 21.10

GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible to prepare all shipments as per customer specifications to meet the required ship date & to receive, maintain & store customer supplied packaging to ensure readiness for use by Production

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Prepare & palletize shipments according to customer requirements.
2. Able to follow work instructions without close supervision.
3. Prepare documentation for shipments as needed.
4. Maintain 5S standard for warehouse & responsible areas.
5. Maintain & prepare customer supplied packaging for use.
6. Track receipt of customer packaging & use of expendables to meet customer demand.
7. Support molding as relief operator as needed.
8. Supervision of machine mold operators.

 QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Must be able to operate a forklift.
3. Must have manufacturing / plastic injection experience
4. Must have team lead experience
5. Must have a good driving record.
6. Must have adequate score on: Math test.

 PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

1. Must be able to stand/walk greater than 7.5 hours a day.
2. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
3. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push and pull frequently.
4. Must be able to wear safety shoes.
5. Must be able to wear hard hat, dust mask, and ear plugs.
6. Must be able to wear safety glasses.
