- Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM to 4PM
Job Overview This customer-facing role blends culinary expertise with sales support to help grow new business and strengthen customer relationships. The Culinary Specialist works alongside sales partners to showcase products, deliver food-driven solutions, and elevate the overall customer experience. This position represents the brand in front of customers, prospects, and industry peers through hands-on demonstrations and events.
Responsibilities
• Support sales objectives by using culinary knowledge to drive category growth
• Collaborate with sales teams to uncover customer needs and recommend menu applications
• Lead product demonstrations, tastings, and sampling activities
• Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and industry events
• Assist with planning and execution of food shows, presentations, and catering events
• Stay current on food trends, market dynamics, and product developments
• Offer guidance on product usage, specifications, and profitability
• Document activities and opportunities using CRM systems
• Support training efforts through culinary presentations
• Oversee kitchen operations, inventory, sanitation, and equipment care
• Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations
• Manage food and supply expenses within budget
• Provide direction to kitchen support staff or external partners as needed
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years of executive chef experience Preferred: Culinary degree or bachelor’s degree; foodservice sales experience

• Comfortable discussing food costs, margins, and business impact
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
