Janitorial Technician / Custodian

Location: Brookshire, TX

Schedule: M-F 7am to 3pm

Pay: $17/hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-stocked while supporting basic maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Main Office / Lobby

• Clean and wipe down all surface areas daily
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily
• Empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows twice per week

Conference Room

• Clean and wipe down surfaces daily
• Empty trash cans daily
• Vacuum daily
• Stock refrigerator and replenish coffee supplies daily

Breakroom

• Clean and wipe down surfaces after each break
• Clean microwaves after each break
• Sweep and mop as needed after each break
• Empty trash cans daily
• Clean time clocks daily
• Clean out refrigerator weekly

Restrooms

• Clean and sanitize all surfaces daily
• Sweep and mop floors after each break
• Empty trash cans daily
• Restock supplies as needed

Additional Duties

• Remove unsafe items from floors and hallways
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and repairs
• Report safety hazards to supervisor immediately
• Monitor and report low inventory of cleaning supplies

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
