Working Lead

20/hr 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Working Lead is responsible for leading a team while actively performing the same operational duties as team members. This role serves as the first point of contact on the floor, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and attendance standards are met while providing coaching, training, and support to associates. The Working Lead partners with supervisors and management to maintain efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example by performing daily production or warehouse tasks alongside the team.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and communicate operational issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with inventory, documentation, or production reporting as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or a related environment.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring team members preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems, or production software preferred).
