Grinder Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding and polishing machines to remove excess material and achieve specified dimensions.Load and unload rollers or wheels onto grinding equipment using proper lifting techniques.
• Perform basic grinding operations under supervision following established procedures.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Monitor machine operation and identify potential defects or equipment issues.Maintain documentation of production output and quality checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.Assist senior technicians with machine setup and tooling changes when needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Experience with grinders, lathes, or polishing equipment is a plus but not required.Desired SkillsMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.Attention to detail and focus on quality.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements
