Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our logistics team. Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. This is a temp-to-hire position with strong long-term opportunities. Once hired full-time, employees become eligible for attendance and performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting

• Performance Standards: Complete daily tasks within established performance measurement guidelines

• Order Accuracy: Pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks with a high level of accuracy

• Documentation: Handle daily warehouse paperwork including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and related documents

• Technical Support: Provide basic technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when applicable

• Follow all contract performance guidelines

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience preferred

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training available)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer and documentation skills

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
