Job Opening: Welder

1st shift Welders needed in the Batavia area.

POSITION PURPOSE: To fabricate and assemble steel components according to production specifications and quality standards. This role involves performing a variety of welding processes—including manual welding, layout welding, orbital welding, and tack welding

7am to 3:30 pm. Monday to Friday!

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:  

·      Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.

·      Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.

·      Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.

·      Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.

·      Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.

·      Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
