Job Opening: RJO – Dock Worker

We’re currently hiring an experienced Dock Worker for a busy distribution environment in Reno. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and long-term potential

Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM Pay: $23.50/hr Type: Temp-to-Hire

As a Dock Worker, you’ll support daily warehouse and freight operations, ensuring shipments are loaded, unloaded, and processed safely and efficiently.

Key Job Duties

• Freight loading and unloading — moving inbound and outbound shipments using pallet jacks.
• Palletizing and staging — organizing freight for transport and verifying load accuracy
• Scanning and documentation — using RF scanners to track inventory and shipments
• Dock organization — maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dock area
• Material handling — lifting, stacking, and securing freight
• Safety compliance — following all warehouse and OSHA safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous dock, warehouse, or freight-handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work the full shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM
• Must be comfortable working in a distribution/warehouse setting
