Job Opening: Production Technician- Forklift

As a Production Technician Associate, you will be responsible for assembling trailer components and sub-assemblies while performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards. This role also involves operating material handling equipment, including an electric pallet jack, tugger, and stand-up forklift.

Shifts:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• $25.25/hr (schedule may vary; overtime and weekends as needed)
• Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• $27.25/hr (schedule may vary; overtime and weekends as needed)

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions
• Safely utilize measuring and inspection instruments
• Use power and hand tools in a safe manner
• Work with materials such as steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils, and abrasives
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality standards
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within the department

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Strong technical skills and assembly experience
• Ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and procedures
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift
