Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Needed in the Airport Area of El Paso

Pay Rate: $24/hr – $27/hr *Depending on Experience

Shift: Monday – Friday Swing Shift *Must be available for 1^st and 2^nd shift

Job Responsibilities:

Trouble shoot all electrical cabinets and test equipment three /single phase 240/480
Cable and Conduit Installation
Working with breaks & clutches
Roller chains and bearing installation
Hydraulic and Pneumatic
Basic plumbing
Repair pumps

Ability to work long hours
Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and apply new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Ability to calculate figures and dimensions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
This position is in manufacturing environment with loud noises
Must be available to work overtime
High School graduate or equivalent. Vocational training or technical trade school preferred
Strong mechanical abilities
Familiar with Automatic controls system and Electrical prints and diagrams,
Knowledge in relays, switches solenoids, Circuit breakers, Contacts, Motor starters, Transformers
