Forklift Certified Driver 1st shift

We are seeking 1st shift Forklift Certified Driver for Chicago Area. Are you a great worker that is reliable, dependable, and  looking to get hired through a good company. We are looking for those that have great punctuality and are able to follow all work tasks daily. 

 **Must have steady work history 

Walkie Rider certification (Raymond) & Stand-up dock truck certification (Raymond)

Pay: $19.75 

1st Shift: Tuesday-Saturday  8 to 10 hours days (Monday if needed) 

Shift time: 6am-2:30pm (overtime 2 hours before shift 4am)  

Job description:

•Training process for Ryder, use hand pallet jack until forklift certified by Ryder

•Must be a trained forklift driver with 3 months plus experience 

•Steel toed shoes required.

•Case picking orders using an RF Scanner

•Consolidating pallets

•Unloading trucks with equipment

•Ability to lift 35-50lbs

•Flexible and versatile to follow work were needed.

•Will not be 100% forklift. Must be a trained forklift driver with 3 months plus experience 

•Able to stand, bend, push, pull, lift for 8 hours to 10 hours daily

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 8 to 10 hours days (Saturday when needed) 

Shift time: 3:00pm-11:30pm (overtime 2 hours after shift 1:30am )

Previous supervisory or lead experience

Monday -Thursday

5:30pm to 3:30pm

$21.25/HR

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their warehouse. They ensure that all employees are working efficiently and safely, monitor inventory levels, and make sure that products are handled properly throughout the shipping process, may also be responsible for hiring new employees or training current staff on new equipment or procedures. This position is often filled by someone with a strong leadership background who can effectively motivate others to work hard and meet company goals.

• Have recent stand-up forklift experience is required
• Delegate and assign tasks to team members and set expectations during pre-shift meeting
• Monitoring and managing development of employees

• Running the day to day operations with associates
• Manage productivity with associates

• Initiative, results oriented, good decision maker, excellent analytically, extremely well organized, and a team player with situational sensibility.
