Description
Prologistix is seeking an Executive Customer Service Shipping Agent in Ellenwood, GA.
1st shift Monday – Friday
Pay is based on experience and skill set ($20+/hr.)
Core Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Preparing and packing outgoing shipments, including printing shipping labels and generating packing slips.
- Inventory Management:
Verifying incoming/outgoing inventory accuracy and updating computer systems (e.g., WMS or ERP).
- Carrier Coordination: Coordinating with freight carriers and couriers for timely pickup of goods.
- Carrier Management: Negotiate shipping rates, liaise with carriers and vendors, and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of shipped items, bills of lading, and shipping logs.
- Quality Control: Inspecting items for damages and ensuring order accuracy to reduce return rates.
- Logistics & Organization: Maintaining a clean and safe shipping area, optimizing logistics and packaging processes, negotiating with carriers, and maintaining accurate documentation.
