About the Role
The Mold Parts Builder assists in the construction and assembly of custom-designed production forms used in precast manufacturing. Working from blueprints and production drawings, this position is responsible for building wooden forms and blockouts with close attention to detail and precise tolerances. This role is critical to ensuring forms are built accurately, safely, and efficiently to support production operations.
Previous Mold Builder experience is required.

What You’ll Do
- Stage, prepare, glue, and nail stock materials.
- Load and unload raw materials, parts, and components from CNC machines.
- Assist with constructing wooden forms and blockouts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
- Build components to precise tolerance requirements.
- Use hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
- Perform accurate measuring and layout of form components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and production standards.
- Assist with general shop duties as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications
Required
- Previous Mold Builder experience.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of construction, fabrication, or woodworking principles.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Schedule
- 1st Shift Only
- Monday through Friday
- Start times as early as 4:00 AM or 6:00 AM
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, crawling, climbing, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts up to 12 hours.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high exposure to workplace hazards.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, humid, wet, and outdoor environments when required.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, high-visibility vests, and other required safety gear.
