Job Opening: RO – Material Handler Kitting
Description
Responsibilities:? Performs a variety of tasks associated with material handling and control in support of manufacturing printed circuit boards and other products.? Receives, counts and stocks raw materials.? Ensures accurate counts, packaging, stock rotation, part identification and shelf life determination.? Receives, sorts, inspects, and validates warranty on returned material.? Completes detailed inventory transactions in appropriate systems, documenting the receipt and delivery of materials.? Deliver material to production and shipping areas to standard process.? Prepares, configures, and packages upgrade material kits for delivery.? Uphold a strict understanding and application of all workplace safety protocols and requirements.Skills:? Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred).? Ability to interpret pick/order tickets with 100% accuracy.? Knowledge warehousing/inventory processes: Cycle Counting, FIFO, bin accuracy, labeling, shelf-life management, and Min/Max levels.? Ability to maintain precise records of all material movements and documentation.? Equipment Operation: Proficient with reel counters and pallet jacks.? Communication: ability to read and write English.? Experience with RF Scanners for inventory tracking – preferred
Duties of this position require frequent heavy manual effort and considerable exertion including lifting objects over 20 pounds, requiring straining, pulling and lifting.
