Job Opening: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Operator

We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves reviewing shipping orders on a tablet, verifying documentation, picking and pulling products, preparing pallets, and shrink-wrapping materials for outbound shipment. The position is approximately 60% manual labor and 40% forklift operation as needed.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Saturdays: 2 per month, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Pay: $18.75–$21.75/hr + OT

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick flooring product orders and place items on pallets
• Shrink-wrap pallets to ensure safe handling of heavy materials
• Review shipping orders and verify documentation for accuracy
• Collect and route outbound freight paperwork
• Assemble merchandise and prepare orders for shipment
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to support warehouse flow
• Communicate with carriers and provide loading instructions
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Complete equipment checklists and basic preventative maintenance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Tablet/iPad proficiency
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
