Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of tasks to maintain the functionality, safety, and appearance of facilities and equipment, including:

• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and facility systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, plumbing, Electrical HVAC, mechanical, and structural issues.
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime, prevent equipment failures, and extend asset life.
• Testing electrical systems, circuits, and components using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure proper operation.
