We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our production team in Edina, Minnesota. The Manufacturing Operator plays a key role in the production process by performing machine operations, assembly work, finishing procedures, quality inspections, and material handling activities to ensure customer products are manufactured accurately and delivered on time.
What You’ll Do
Production & Manufacturing
- Review work orders, job routers, prints, and production documentation prior to beginning work.
- Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery to produce custom products.
- Perform secondary operations including:
- Assembly
- Labeling
- Packaging
- Bagging
- Gluing
- Vulcanizing
- Picking and finishing activities
- Perform cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, and other machine operations.
- Assist with machine setup and operation as needed.
- Monitor equipment performance and report operational concerns promptly.
- Accurately issue and track materials used during production.
- Examine finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Complete production documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
Quality Assurance
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Verify part dimensions, appearance, and packaging requirements.
- Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to supervisors or quality personnel.
- Support first article and in-process inspections.
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain production standards.
Teamwork & Communication
- Participate in cross-training opportunities.
- Share knowledge and assist team members when needed.
- Attend department and company meetings.
- Communicate production concerns, safety issues, and improvement ideas to leadership.
- Contribute to a collaborative, continuous improvement culture.
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform basic routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Recycle materials and dispose of scrap appropriately.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, job orders, and production documents.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
- Experience in assembly, finishing, converting, fabrication, or production environments.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measuring devices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Regular use of hands for handling, gripping, and fine manipulation.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and moving materials.

- Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for various functions including picking, quality, inventory and shipping
- Determine the appropriate destination of product by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and sort packages accordingly.

Essential Functions
- Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, blueprints, and assembly documentation.
- Open, manipulate, and understand 3D computer models to support assembly activities.
- Inspect coolers, steel parts, fans, and drive components including bearings, bushings, sheaves, and shafts for quality and accuracy.
- Use corrective tools to perform repairs, modifications, and adjustments as needed.
- Locate, retrieve, and organize parts required for assembly operations.
- Move cooling packages and components safely between work areas using motorized cranes and material handling equipment.
- Assemble and attach components to cooling packages in accordance with blueprint specifications and 3D models.
- Document completed work to ensure units are assembled according to AKG and applicable industry standards.
- Meet daily production goals and quotas established by the Lead or Supervisor.

- Develop and maintain knowledge of parts and components used in the assembly of High Horsepower Units.
- Report production, quality, safety, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or appropriate personnel.

We are currently looking for experienced Order Picker Forklift Operator at our client Ryder in Apopka, FL.
Shifts available:
(Sunday-Wednesday) : 5:00am-5:00pm – $19.45
(Wednesday-Saturday) 5:00am-5:00pm – $19.45
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.
- Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract. Performs other duties as assigned.

In this hands-on role, you’ll investigate shipment issues, resolve exceptions, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure packages reach the right destination on time. What You’ll Do
- Investigate and resolve shipment exceptions, including mis-sorts, missing labels, damaged freight, and system discrepancies.
- Track shipments and research routing issues using warehouse and transportation systems.
- Relabel, reroute, and recover freight to keep operations running smoothly.
- Partner with inbound, outbound, and operations teams to quickly solve problems and remove bottlenecks.
- Perform quality checks to ensure shipment accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze trends, identify root causes, and help implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate issues that may impact service or delivery performance.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, or sort center operations.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with shipment exceptions, inventory discrepancies, or quality control is a plus.
- Familiarity with WMS, TMS, or sortation systems preferred.

Pay & Schedules:
- Mon-Thu Day Shift (6:00 AM-4:30 PM): $23.50/hr
- Mon-Thu Night Shift (5:00 PM-3:30 AM): $24.00/hr
- Fri-Sun Day Shift (5:00 AM-5:30 PM): $23.50/hr

Responsibilities:

Position Summary
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring and auditing warehouse operations to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and operational procedures. This role works directly on the floor to identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and maintain high levels of sort accuracy and service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits across inbound, sortation, and outbound operations.
- Verify scan compliance, sort accuracy, routing, labeling, and load quality.
- Identify mis-sorts, process deviations, and quality risks.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to operations teams.
- Track and report quality metrics, audit results, and corrective actions.
- Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve processes and reduce errors.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or quality-related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse or sortation operations.
Preferred:
- Experience in a sort center, parcel hub, cross-dock, 3PL, or 4PL environment.
- Experience with quality auditing, inventory control, or exception handling.
- Familiarity with WMS, scanning technology, and sortation systems.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
