Position Summary

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring and auditing warehouse operations to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and operational procedures. This role works directly on the floor to identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and maintain high levels of sort accuracy and service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits across inbound, sortation, and outbound operations.
• Verify scan compliance, sort accuracy, routing, labeling, and load quality.
• Identify mis-sorts, process deviations, and quality risks.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to operations teams.
• Track and report quality metrics, audit results, and corrective actions.
• Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve processes and reduce errors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or quality-related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of warehouse or sortation operations.

Preferred:

• Experience in a sort center, parcel hub, cross-dock, 3PL, or 4PL environment.
• Experience with quality auditing, inventory control, or exception handling.
• Familiarity with WMS, scanning technology, and sortation systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
