Customs Clerk – 1st shift in the Eastside

About the Role We’re looking for a Customs Clerk to support our import/export operations by preparing documentation, coordinating with brokers and carriers, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Customs Documentation — Prepare and review import/export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and entry summaries.

Regulatory Compliance — Ensure all shipments meet CBP, USDA, and other regulatory requirements.

Shipment Coordination — Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to track and release shipments.

Data Entry — Maintain accurate records in internal systems and update shipment statuses.

Issue Resolution — Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies or clearance delays.

Logistics Experience — 1–2 years in customs, logistics, warehousing, or a related field.

Computer Skills — Proficiency with MS Office; experience with customs or ERP systems is a plus.

Regulatory Knowledge — Familiarity with import/export processes and CBP requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Prior work with customs brokers or freight forwarders.
