Steel Press Machine Operator 1st Shift

$21 – $ 25 DOE

? Take ownership of the press, its operation, and quality of all finished products. ? Load and setup die on press, Go/No Go and pipe fitment required for all setups. ? Responsible for die removal, cleaning, and inspection as well as repair (if locally possible). ? Thorough knowledge of feed line operation, adjustment, and installation of coil steel. Understanding of how and when to adjust Feeder acceleration, velocity, and length. ? Operation must be continuously monitored. Must diagnose and correct feed line and press issues independently. ? Maintain thorough preventative maintenance of machine. ? Follow all safety and shut down procedures. ? Cross train others to operate machines. ? Able to read dial micrometers and error codes (assessment & corrective action on error codes). Perform quality control and log results. ? Must operate forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane, sheet metal gobbler, and other tools of the trade.

Must complete daily activity and various quality records daily
